Reversed meaning
Reversed, the Four of Pentacles marks generosity, opening the fist, or releasing what you cling to. It can also warn of overspending — the opposite extreme of clutching.

In love, upright signals possessiveness, jealousy, or holding too tightly to a partner. Reversed, you open your heart again — or, in shadow, you spend frivolously to fill an emotional gap.
